Thanks Abuelo Sam and Grandma Dianne!!!

Well, I had quite a week with my grandma and grandpa! I hope they weren't too bored, but they sure spent a lot of time staring at me! I guess my favorite thing about last week was getting to be held so much!

My mommy held me...


My daddy held me...


My abuelo held me...


And then my gran held me...


Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I was held by both the men...


And the women...


And after all that, we went on a nice walk!!!


Needless to say, I am tired after all of that holding, but sure do miss my grandparents!

Okay, so not to belabor the point, but here are another slew of pics from my party in California! I slept for most of the time, but did manage to wake up a bit at the end. Upon review of these pictures, I realized they were too good not to share...so here are just a few!















Well, thanks for looking. Hard to believe that was 2 weeks ago, and that I couldn't even really smile back then! I do have a nice smile, I think. I am growing so fast, it's hard for me and everyone to believe. You'll just have to keep checking my blog to see what else I learn how to do in the coming days and weeks!!!

My Very Own Party

Hi everyone!! It's been a busy week getting back from California, but I wanted to give you a little peek at the party that my grandparents threw for me so I could meet all their friends.


It was a lot of fun and lots of people were very nice to come meet me! I enjoyed meeting everyone, especially my new friends who are more my size. Brianna and Reagan were very nice to come visit me while I was in my swing. (I slept in my swing for most of my party...)



This week is busy, too, as my other grandparents are visiting from Tennessee. I'll update you on that, soon, too, as we are having a great time!!

Back In Rhode Island

Hi everyone!! I'm back from my first cross-country trip and have now seen two oceans and been to three states, all in 5 weeks of life! I did a GREAT job with all the traveling and meeting new people. Nevermind the fact that while on the plane I may or may not have pooped on my daddy's pants. And shirt. And the tray table. And a half eaten bag of pretzels.

Anyway, back to my trip...like a big girl, I had my own seat on the plane. I requested an aisle seat, but got a window.




When we finally got to California, my social calendar was quite full. I got to meet at least 6 other babies during my week there. Here is me playing with a couple of my new friends, Aggie and Derek. I was trying to sleep, but they just wanted to play.



It was awfully fun being invited to my first wedding (thanks Becky and Scott - you all looked great!). At the wedding, I got to be held a lot by my daddy and GP (again, as my California grandpa is known), and I was told repeatedly that I looked quite good (so it had to be true)...



One of my favorite parts of the week was getting to be in the wedding picture with all the pretty girls! Besides my really pretty dress and bonnet, I even had little bouquet to wear around my ankle. Doesn't Faunt Becky look pretty at her wedding? We had a great time!!



Another one of my favorite parts of the week was getting to meet my great-grandpa (GGP, perhaps?)!!! There was even a picture with all four gen-er-a-tions (that was my word of the week)!




GGP's a natural, and a really good holder! I loved being in his arms. I could tell he really liked me!!!

Plus his place was a lot of fun...I got to play Push, which is one of the only games I can play at this age. Thank goodness it was immortalized in the below video.



When there was downtime, I tried to work on my tan by the pool (I was in LA, after all)...



But the fam would only let me stay in the shade. Boring! (But actually a ton of fun because I was in my swing, and besides, what 5 week old wants to do laps in a pool?)

Anyway, sorry for being so long in posting, but I had a pretty good reason. Stay tuned for more pics of my fun week in California, including of a party that was all for ME!

California Here I Come!

Well, folks, I am four weeks old today. This picture is a reminder of what I looked like the day I was born... I sure have grown and changed!!!

Mom and I just got back from the doctor... I weigh 9lbs, 6oz (back to my birth weight!) and am 22 inches long. The doctor said I look great!!

Mom and Dad and I are headed to California tonight for Faunt Becky and Funcle Scott's wedding (Don't forget, "faunt" and "funcle" are my real Aunt Meg's way of identifying "fake" aunts and uncles...).

Can't wait to see everyone!!

Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th! Hope you all had a great Independence Day! I know I did.

It started off kinda slow...



But then I remembered my 4th of July outfit my friend Chandler gave me and the fun began!



Add to the mix a very patriotic dog, and you've got yourself a partay...

Now "Wooo! Wooo!"....



It was a fun time, but I may have overdone it on the milk...

All in all, I love the 4th of July!
