A Trip to Tennessee

Hi everyone! I'm back!! Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Tennessee this weekend to look for our new house! Mommy and Daddy looked at LOTS of houses, but I was soooo lucky-- my grandparents came to take care of me while my parents were out working. I had so much fun-- they played, and played, and played with me! As you can see from all these pictures, I had a lot of fun!! Thanks to my Gran and my Abuelo!!

Even though I sometimes enjoy reading Daddy's medical journals with him, I have recently learned that is is MUCH more fun to rip them up into tiny pieces!
Doesn't it look like fun???

Can You Tell What Was For Dinner?

Can you tell what I had for dinner tonight? I'm not sure how much of it actually made it into my mouth... I was certainly more interested in spreading it all over the place and touching it than actually eating it!

Mommy says I have two new "bad habits" whatever those are. The first one is sticking my hand in my mouth after the food is in there and trying to take it out...
And the second one is trying to feed Harley over the side of my high chair! Mommy wasn't fast enough to get a good picture of him licking the Goldfish crackers I was holding over the side for him, but you can see that he sits under my high chair and waits for something to fall...
(Oh, and it was lasagna, by the way!)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm celebrating in the dress my TN grandparents sent me... am I cute or what?? Don't forget to wear green today!

Another busy week has come and gone... Many thanks to Auntie Meg for spending her spring break (and her birthday!) with me. We had a great time!
Auntie Meg brought her laptop, and I got to play with it and talk to my Tennessee grandparents on the webcam... it was fun to show them how I can crawl around on the floor!

And, I still LOVE to clap, as you can see from my "action shot" here...

Sleepy Abby

Spring is coming to Rhode Island! We are getting excited, and even made a family trip to the beach.

Look at me go!

I didn't go very far this time, but you get the idea......

9 Months!

I am 9 months old today! I love to talk, play with my toys, and eat snacks. Some of my favorite snacks are Cheerios, Saltines, bagels, and yogurt. I have also started to crawl, so maybe I'll start working off some of those carbs!

On Sunday, we went to the beach and enjoyed the nice weather...

Yesterday was Auntie Meg's birthday and we celebrated by going to Gymboree where I got to show my friends my crawling skills.
And then I had to clean up for her party!

Read Across America

When I was talking to my Auntie Meg this morning she told me that it was Read Across America day, the day when you can celebrate Dr. Suess' birthday by reading his books. She said that the big kids in her kindergarten class were going to do this, and she suggested that I ask Mommy to read me some of his books... it was fun!
And, in honor of the snow day that Mommy and I are having at home today (there is A LOT of snow!), we read another book, too.

A Big Week

This was a fun week. I did all the regular stuff like Gymboree, errands with Mommy, playing with my toys, etc., but I got to do something new this week, too. Mommy was not feeling well the other morning, so I got to go to work with Daddy for a few hours!! It was fun and everyone was very nice to me. I was so interested in what I learned at the hospital that I sat with Daddy and read a few journal articles when I got home.
After all that hard work, I was tired!!
(Harley, as usual, was hanging out in my room...)
BUT, the big news is that I was playing in my crib yesterday while Mom and Dad were getting us ready to go out. They thought I was being awfully quiet, so Daddy came to check on me... and found me STANDING UP!!

I hope your week was as exciting as mine!!
