Baptism

I got baptized on Sunday, December 28, as my whole family was in town. It was special, and I was happy to be able to share it with my parents, grandparents, and aunt.

Christmas

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of posts...I have been SO busy this past week. All four of my grandparents and my aunt came to visit me for my first Christmas. We had so much fun... we ate lots of food (well, they all did...I had my standard milk, cereal, fruit and veggies...), played with all of my new toys, and had a great time.
As you can see, many of my toys were quite tasty (they must have been, I chewed on them all day). I got so many nice things from everyone... thanks!

But first, my grandmas had to wrap everything...
I had such a fun time... everyone wanted to hold me and play with me ALL the time. Here is a picture of me with my GP...
...and hanging out with my two grandpas and Elmo.... what could possibly be better??
Even Harley enjoyed opening his packages...
I had a great first Christmas!!! Happy 2009!

What a Great Year

Happy New Year's Eve! Mom and Dad keep talking about what a good year this has been for them... I think it has something to do with me being born!

Can't wait to see what 2009 has in store!

SNOW

It's been snowing for about 24 hours here now... we have at least 8 or 9 inches now, and it's STILL SNOWING! We went outside just long enough to take a few pictures...

Harley LOVED the snow!!

I love December!

So this month just gets better and better!

First of all I found out that my favorite people will be coming to visit over Christmas. I am just learning about this holiday, but it seems great, and I can't wait to see my aunt and grandparents!

Next, mommy and daddy went out and brought a tree into our house and put all sorts of funny things on it! I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but it smells real nice and I like sitting next to it!

I've even been practicing singing Christmas carols!

Last, but not least, I got a new thing which people seem to call a bouncer or jumper. I can stand in it and jump up and down, plus play with lots of toys in it...what a fun way to spend a few minutes! It's certainly not boring!

Well, all this blogging has made me hungry...time for breakfast!

My New Info!

Hi everyone! Well, I went to my doctor yesterday.

He's always nice, but there's always some lady there who stabs me in the thigh. What a jerk. Anyway, I just found out that I:

- Weigh 18lbs 7oz...
- Am 27 inches long...and
- Have a 44.5cm head.

Here's a picture of that head, in case you forgot:

I'm told I can drink water now, but much prefer milk. I've mentioned my 2 teeth, and though there were some nay sayers, it's hard to argue with this picture!

Anyway, I'll just leave you with some pics of me with my mommy, and (f)aunt Susan and (f)uncle Mark!

Can't believe the holidays are already here! Hope to keep you up to speed on what is happening here! Bye for now!

Yesterday, I went to a little get together at a friends' house.

My friend Harley stayed home and guarded our place - as you can see, he is getting quite fierce.

Some fun people held me...

I saw some old friends and made new ones...

and I even saw my old buddy Mahin, who is only 2 days older than me

I can't remember if he tried to hold my hand or if it was the other way around.

But eventually it was time to go home and have a nice swing before I went to bed! In fact, I think I'll do that now.

Good night!

Six Months Old

I turned six months old yesterday... time flies! I go to the doctor tomorrow (boo!) so I'll update my stats then, but for now, I wanted to let you know that I can:

- almost sit up on my own
- roll over
- make A LOT of noises
- blow raspberries
- laugh and smile
- and, I have TWO teeth!

My First Snow Day!

So many firsts!! Yesterday, I got my first Christmas tree, and this morning I woke up to my first snow! The neighborhood really looks pretty with snow all over, but it sure is cold.

There are things we are certainly going to miss about living here, including scenes like these...
As you can see, Harley had a great time in the snow, too...
Off to check out the snow again... stay warm!

My First Christmas Tree

Today we went to get our Christmas tree... it's a beautiful tree and it smells so good!!

I'm Back!

Yay!! The computer is back in working order, so here are the pictures I promised you.

Remember how I was wearing the sweater that used to be my Mommy's? Well, this blue one used to be my Daddy's!! Aren't my grandmas cool? They both knew where to find these 30 year old sweaters, and they still look great!! (I think I'm squinting because I was getting tired of posing for the camera...)

Here is another picture of me eating sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving...

Here I am, getting ready for Christmas, and practicing my sitting up skills...

... helping Daddy with his work (or working on my blog, as Auntie Meg pointed out...)

... and just hanging out...

See you soon!!

Hi! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still here!! Mommy and Daddy are still taking lots of pictures of me, so when the computer is back in working order, you'll have LOTS of photos to look at. For now, Mommy found this picture on her computer... it's from my second trip to CA when I was only 2 months old... I'll be 6 months old next week! (I still look like the same kid, but not as skinny as I was then!!)
