Yesterday I went on a drive with my mom and dad... I was enjoying my book until I fell asleep. Mommy and Daddy thought it was so cute that I was sleeping, yet still holding onto my book which I dearly love.

Summer is Coming

Summer is slowly arriving to New England. I have started to wear a few things that show off my arms and legs... it's amazing! I am fascinated by my own skin, as it has been covered up all winter. I love being barefoot, too!! Here are some pictures of me playing yesterday.

Fun With Boxes

Mommy thinks that this whole moving thing is going to be a tiring and arduous process as she packs a few things, then chases me around... Harley and I have been having fun with the boxes all morning!

Now that I am pretty mobile I am able to choose my own food... Yikes! On this trip to the fridge, I chose a kiwi to share with Daddy. I loved it so much that he had to get another one for himself!

Mommy and Daddy got very excited during my bath the other night, as they realized that my hair is now long enough for a "shampoo mohawk", whatever that is...

Lending a Helping Hand

Here I am helping Mommy with the laundry. I helped out a great deal by taking all the clothes out of the basket and putting them on the floor.

A Fun Weekend

We had a very fun weekend! Yesterday we celebrated my mom and then I played with Daddy in the yard. Hope you all had a good weekend, too!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I just looked on my calender and figured out that it's Mother's Day! I wish I'd gotten my mommy something besides a dirty diaper, because she's such a great mom! Just look at some of these photos from the past 11 months and you'll see. We have fun together every day! And thanks to her, I've had the best first eleven months a little girl could hope for! I think I might be the luckiest girl around! Thanks for loving me mommy! I love you tons and wish you a Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to my grandmothers too! They're the best and I can't wait to see them all again soon!

Saturday Morning

I'm still eating... Mommy made me pancakes this morning! I am not sure what they are, but I liked them. I had them plain, but Mommy said I'll love them even more someday when I get to have syrup on them.
(Oh, and you can kind of see, but my hair is starting to curl. It might be because of the rain, but Mommy has apologized in case I have to deal with curly hair my whole life!)

I love to eat. I'll eat almost anything my parents give me (and if I don't want it, I throw it on the floor for Harley who comes running...). I devoured this banana.

Well, the time has come. Mommy always said she would not put bows in my hair until I actually needed something on my head. My hair is getting longer now, and it gets in my eyes sometimes, so Mommy thought it was time for a clip. She and I found cute clips with little bows on them, and everyone has been telling us that they want to see... so here I am!! (I am chewing on my hairbrush and still have a small bruise on my head from one of my learning-how-to-crawl tumbles, but I still think I am pretty cute.)

Mommy and Daddy have been on a picture-taking break since we got back from our trip, but here are some more pictures of me in Ireland.

Hanging out at the tasting at the Old Jameson Distillery... (I had to do something to keep myself busy, as I didn't get to taste any whiskey...)
On the beach along the Ring of Kerry... (with crumbs from my favorite Irish baby biscuits on my face!)
Playing in a roadside cafe while Mommy and Daddy drank much-needed coffee...
You probably can't read the sign on the wall, but it says that "children must be kept under control at all times". Mommy and Daddy thought this was humorous for some reason...
Mommy and Daddy at the Guinness Storehouse... (I was there, but again, no samples!)
Me in my Aer Lingus bassinett on the flight home, eating an Irish apple...
